Measuring
Measuring your nails at home is a great way to determine your size if you’re in a rush or don’t want to purchase a sizing kit.
Nails are measured in millimetres for the most accurate sizing. Follow the steps below to ensure a perfect fit.
How It Works
- Measure your nails using Method 1 (tape & ruler) or Method 2 (soft measuring tape) below.
- Write down your nail measurements in millimetres for each finger on both hands.
- Match each measurement to the sizing chart to determine your set size.
Method 1: Tape & Ruler
You’ll need: clear tape, a fine-tip pen, and a ruler marked in millimetres.
- Place the tape across the widest part of the nail.
- Mark the exact left and right edges of your nail bed with the pen.
- Peel off the tape, lay it flat against the ruler, and record the distance in millimetres.
- Repeat for all ten nails.
Method 2: Soft Measuring Tape
You’ll need: a soft measuring tape.
- Wrap the tape snugly over the widest part of the nail.
- Record the number of millimetres from sidewall to sidewall (where your nail meets the skin).
- Repeat for all ten nails.
